Jan 5th is my birthday and nothing would be finer than to see the Gold Medal Game.

I will take a pair preferably 2nd bowl or lower bowl seats.

I'll buy a ticket, or tickets, right now today for full FV without knowing who is in the final.

I'll pay full FV for Canada vs Swe/Fin, once we know that Canada is through to the final.

I'll entertain offers for Russia vs Swe/Fin tomorrow. In this scenario I would still like to go but I imagine finding tickets will be easy as all those who are waiting to see if Canada is playing will be looking to unload their tickets. Depending on the market I may or may not pay full FV. I have the feeling tickets for way less than FV will be available.


TBQH what I'm really hoping for is a random single as a result of a CPer with a pair who wants to go but has someone cancel last minute and instead brings me. Ideally I'd like a pair but I think I have equal chance of Emma Watson calling me up tomorrow for a night on the town.

I paid $35 for great seats to see them play in the Round Robin. I thought that was an appropriate price.

Given FV I don't expect that good of a deal and if you find someone to drop $500 on a pair then that's great.

It just won't be me. Not when the market is FLOODED left and right with hundreds and hundreds of pairs.

I guess I should clarify, I wasn't suggesting that paying less than face value was a bad thing and if you can find it hey great, I just thought it was an unnecessary addition to your post. Many people paid a lot of money, myself included, and it just hit a nerve when you suggested in a LF tickets thread that you started that you won't pay anything close to what someone else had to initially pay.

I certainly didn't mean to insult any of the ticket holders.

The reason I added that actually was for 2 reasons. Mods specifiy that I have to name a price so I was trying to be as specific as possible, the other reason is that I don't want to waste your or my own time.

So far I've received a number of very, very lucrative offers. Unfortunately some of the tickets aren't exactly what I'm looking for or, even at a severe discount, are a little more than I'm willing to spend.
