No problem, I know one of the Concrete Equities guys lived in a pretty swank place on 1st Ave and moved to Vancouver about a year ago, can't wait to see the pictures of this place, I love seeing how rich people live.

That wasn't slick Vinnie DePalma was it hulk? I know the condo you are talking about too.
I don't think it could have been his place, as it was in the building with all the shops below it (Main Dish and others), and had one of the Pontefino buildings right behind it to the south, so it couldn't have a great downtown view as Travis has mentioned about this upcoming listing.

That's the guy, and good point. I always forget those are blocked off on the South Side. You could see in his windows sometimes and it looked like quite the place.
Interestingly enough, it looks like he'll be getting off a lot lighter than the rest of the Concrete Equities crew. I was told a lot of what happened was behind his back or he was too naive to realize how crooked it was. I guess we'll never know.

Vinnie worked for us when he first came to Calgary, did not deliver on anything he said he could do for us so we showed him the door (supply chain management of overseas shipments). His next stop was at Concrete.
He got that place in the Bridges while he worked for us, so I would assume all the big money stuff came once he started at Concrete. He would talk to me about it as right around the same time I happened to buy my place in the Bridges also, but I was in the Bella Citta building on the west edge of the development.

He went from getting fired at a supply chain management position to taking in people's life savings to buy over leveraged office buildings? Wow. That is scary. They guy must be very slick to continually be finding positions/money. I was surprised he landed on his feet after having his name all over the news in the Concrete thing. I'd hoped those guys would never touch another investment dollar again.

couple of teaser pictures before i get the entire thing up.
Still learning about the property and its furnishings but it looks as if the one couch alone was around 16k, pulling model numbers on everything this evening.

So it is in one of the Pontefino buildings, not Vinnie's place then.

I always like the Pontefino buildings, by nature of their height they had to go with concrete construction, always a plus for noise control.

Pizza and a six pack (you said ANY offers).
I am looking forward to seeing this listing, and even more curious to see what it goes for. So much potential in Bridgeland, I just with phases II and III of the Bridges would get going.
