I'm situated on a mostly gravel hill about 100' above Georgia Straight. My place was rocking for a minute or so like some over enthusiastic lovers were going at it upstairs.

Yep, the patio was rockin' as was our house...lasted probably 15-20 seconds...makes you feel a bit disoriented, really....like you aren't sure if you're dizzy or if it's an earthquake...but it was an earthquake today.

More like the VPD authorizes a $300,000 study which will determine who is to blame. Stay tuned for the informative results.

Nothing down in Yaletown. I was also very distracted by the cold beer and what seemed to be barely legal waitresses at the Cactus Club.

Probably someone who imagined it because they'd been in the sun too long.

It's certainly possible. There was a smaller Earthquake in the same area as this one when I was in Grade 11 or 12 (so about 10 years ago I think) and I was at Mt. Boucherie and felt it thanks to being on a computer chair at the time. Thought I was light headed or something at first because it was only for about 5 seconds but I felt disoriented like I was swaying. Checked the internet afterwards and sure enough there it was.
