Is there a rule that you have to be human to play in the NHL? Chimps, bears - what other animals can be trained to skate?

I'm pretty sure there's a rule in pro baseball that you have to be a certain height to play. If I recall correctly, way way back a manager brought out a little person to bat in order to get the almost-guaranteed walk; that loophole got closed soon afterwards.

Actually, now that I think about it, that has collective lawsuit written all over it.

I am by no means an activist or anything along those lines, I enjoy fishing and am not against hunting or anything like that. But man oh man I felt bad for that bear. He looked like he was just scared *#@#less of what would happen if he didn't do what he was told.

I can only imagine how much he was beat into submission. That should be reserved for lippy wives and/or girlfriends only.
