If you are doing a clean install (you should be if you have the time)

The following is a great multi free app installer package

OK, so I ordered the Windows 7 Home Premium for $35 US and used my already purchased 32 bit upgrade DVD copy (key already used on my Vista machine) and plugged in the key that this company e-mailed me. Works fine and passed all of microsofts tests and since it says

A: Yes, the key will allow for telephone tech support directly from Microsoft.
I think it must be a retail copy, no?

Now I just have to wait for my 1GB of memory to arrive and add on, although it is working fine with only 768MBs of ram and a 2.4ghz Celeron processor.

Good deal it seems for those who aren't students and a big thanks to FlamesKickAss.

Installed the Professional upgrade over the weekend on my new HD.

Had to do the double install trick to get the activation to work. Somehow it checks if there was an OS on it before even though I deleted the partition on the 2nd install.
