I think... what he meant is...

That is the best possible scenario for when you want to score on the farm...

Flames signed Jason Jaffray which should provide some offense and someone the canuck faithful are familiar with

Was Germyn resigned? IIRC he's a UFA this year.

No Chucko? Personally, I'm thinking one of Lundmark, Greentree, or Backlund might start with the big club this year.

Either way it's looking like scoring won't be a problem.

I was thinking the same thing, and then we might see Ryley Grantham on the Heat this year.

What's the D gonna look like?

Pelech-Kronwall
Negrin-Aulie (I assume they are turning pro?)
Baldwin-Cole

This is assuming Palin makes the Flames as #7

What ... you mean this thread isn't about how to pick up farm girls? Colour me disappointed.

It's only par for the course for certain farm teams. I mean, Chicago always brings in ringers, and the Manitoba Moose which are Vancouver's farm team has older ringer players too.
Good luck with that! The two years they were in QC, they lost 10 of their first 11 games. How's that going to go over in Abbotsford??!

Here's last years AHL numbers from our most offensive farm forwards.

Add Backlund to that and you've got 9 forwards with AHL offensive punch. (Hopefully we can include Backlund in that group)

The D is pretty young though, and it will be interesting to see if they can be effective enough at moving the puck up to this decently smilled group of forwards.

If anyone cares I just heard he signed with the Philadelphia Flyers. So lots of time in Adirondack this coming season.

Hes the marion hossa of the AHL.

He goes from team to team every year. Hes a cancer in the locker room and is all about himself.

During one of the post game skates down here he told Palin that he didn't want to skate with a bunch of losers (the fans) and left and went into the locker room
