I love the selective memory here. Yes I was not all over every single Flames prospect and haven't had them penciled in on the NHL All-Star teams for the next 20 years for the next 20 years like many posters here but that is a far cry from thinking that they sucked.

I thought Aulie would struggle at the WJHC based on how bad he was the year before in the play-offs against the Hurricanes.

I thought Negrin was good but nowhere near to being ready to play for the Flames. Which was shown to be true.

Moon is the "voice of reason" when it comes to prospects. I can understand both sides of it. It is great that there are some Flames prospects that have some great potential, but how many guys have "flamed out" ?

Moon's job is to temper our expectations.

I don't think people in Vancouver are all that concerned with the Giants loss right now. The NHL playoffs have the attention of the city. Besides, the Giants are contenders every year. They have won a Memorial Cup and WHL Championship so the loss to Kelowna is no big deal.
