I dated a chick that was 6'1" once. It lasted about 3 months but after it ended we both admitted the height difference was awkward.

My wife is 5'9" and considers herself tall for a girl. She is routinely pissed off that all the tall guys seem to go for the tiny girls (5' or less) leaving her with short guys.

I'm 5'10". Apparently that's barely acceptable. /sigh.

I'm an average sized guy (6.0) and I dated a girl in universary that liked to wear heels, so when we danced I got to give her the motor boat. she was a good basket ball player too, she couldn't dunk but she had good fundamentals.

I understand where your wife is coming from. I'm 5'9"-5'10" and it seems that the majority of the guys who are taller than me have a thing for girls who are like, 5'2". Most have the guys I have dated have been around my height, or a little bit shorter in some cases (5'8"). I wouldn't mind finally dating a really tall guy though!

Nah.

Nice guys quietly marry nice girls they met in their early twenties, have nice kids and live irritatingly happy lives while the weirdos, jerks and headcases gripe about someone else always getting the girls.

The actual nice guys are the cream of the crop, picked early, and thus they are not out there complaining (since they are nice guys they like being with their one nice girl).

Most of the self proclaimed "nice guys" are actually weirdos or headcases.
