wranglers CP Softball - Abbotsford Heat vs. OKC Barons Thread - All Welcome



Hey all,

We of CP Softball fame (or infamy, depending on which side of the law you're on) wanted to get a big group together to go and see the Abbotsford Heat take on the OKC Barons (Edmonton's AHL affiliate).

The game is at the 'Dome, on Friday Feb 18, 2011 at 7:00.

Tickets go on sale or pre-sale this Saturday and are between $17.25 and $35.00 a ticket.

Now, I've never done the big group purchase before, and I dont know what the deal is with this, but I figured I'd throw this out there and maybe we can get a group of us together and have some fun. Because, lets face it, one day these guys are going to be the Calgary Flames.

I think anyone who is a Hitmen season ticket holder gets a preferential pre-sale, so any Hitmen STH please step forward and check that out for us please.

And if anyone has an idea about how to do a big group purchase, chime on in because I have no idea.

But, for right now, as I recall (hazily) from our Pub meet for the pool (which I am failing miserably in) here are the guys who wanted in:

Call the Flames customer service line and ask if any deals are available or the easiest way to get a block together. They're usually easy to deal with.

Maybe I'll do that once we've got some firmer numbers, I dont think availability will be an issue.
