Not overly. First one was fun for a while then turned annoying. I played it frequently for a couple months and then got bored.

I saw a clip of the new one the other day and I guess there is a new gun? Any other differences beside that and some new maps?

Seems like a rip off to me. The day it comes out, the first one will have been out for 364 days, a day short of a year. Such a scam, and still only 5 maps. There should be at least 8-10 IMO.

L4D was fun with multiplayer, but ONLY with your actual friends, not internet players.

The new one looks fast paced, but not as dark as the first. That kinda sucks.
