Would you ever pay for a dating service? If so, how much?
http://itsjustlunch.com/
I was interested at first, until she told me its $1900/yr or $1000 for 6 months. Min, 12 dates for the 1yr memb. and min. 8 dates for the 6 months.
She said she has over 1300 women signed up in her database and theyre signing up left, right and center. Take that for all its worth.
The office is downtown in the Ford tower, and their office was barebones and sketchy. Like it was put together overnight. They do a free 1 hour consultation to tell you all about their service and the girls working there are very good looking.
The girl kept telling me how they won consumer choice award and their main source of advertising is in the en route magazine, that is found on airplanes.
Membership package - 1 year - $1995 - min. 12 dates.

$160/mo? And then you have to pay for the lunch? Screw that. For $160 I can eat at a fine steakhouse by myself, have the most expensive bottle of wine, and still have enough cash to buy a skin mag and 'stop' in the washroom before heading back to work.

waste of money, just put that cash into a recreation activity that you enjoy and be social.
Or go on a trip with a group...
meeting someone is as simple as saying Hi

The overall franchise seems to be legit...
I can't see myself ever paying for a dating service. If I were single and looking, I would involve myself in activities I would want to share with my future partner.
I can think of a lot of better ways to spend $1900 trying to find someone to spend the rest of my life with.

I would never ever pay for a dating service.
Take some night classes, join a group or do some volunteering. All are great ways to meet people.

Why pay that kind of money when hookers are cheaper and a sure thing?
Seriously, tho, if they paying the women to go on dates with you, you might as well just dispense with the illusion.

I used to date a girl that hosts the two minute dates things you sometimes see advertised. She asked me on several occasions to stand in. In other words, pretend I am a guy looking to meet girls, but I would fake the whole thing. I never did do that, but I bet that stuff goes on all the time. Thirty people pay thirty bucks each, she pays a few more people to just participate to fill the place up.

I think Lava Life has free and pay options.
Thousands of dollars for a dating service seems ridiculous. What if you meet the right guy on your first date?

If you're going to pay 1900 a year for a dating service, might as well just forget it and get a rent boy.

I wouldn't pay for a dating service. It just seems very unnatural or something. Too forced. I really believe that if you put yourself out there, you can meet plenty of people without having to pay for someone else to set you up.
I don't even really believe in online dating sites either... but I'm probably in the minority these days. I'd much rather strike up a conversation with a total stranger in person than cruise online profiles looking for a potential date.

Dating services are for losers.
You want a date and see what she looks like first? try this.
1)Write on the back of 10 of your business cards " I'm very shy but I think your very pretty, call me if your interested"
2)Go to Safeway,Sobeys..etc and find your dream ladies (check for rings)
3)Walk up and say "hi, i'm leaving my card in your cart"
Sound silly and crazy? I did this on a bet with a buddy and got 3 calls out of 7 cards (one call was 15 minutes later) and I dated 2 of the girls.
