when i click the listen live link on the fan 960 i get this message

The page “The FAN 960 - Calgary's Sports Radio - AM 960” has content of MIME type “application/x-mplayer2”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.

Right here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...omponents.mspx

That's the free one, it does playback but not export, it's all you need.

Guess I'll put this here... I clicked on "Listen Live," and the window that popped up didn't have a WMP stream on it. All there is on the page is a link to their "Flames Hockey" page. I'm using Vista, but I was using Vista last year and had no problem, so... what in the world is going on?

i am using vista as well. It didn't work for me in firefox, where you using firefox or ie?
You also have to allow the active x control to run.
it should be a little message just below the address bar.

I really wish they would ditch the Windows Media format. It causes so many problems for so many users.

I run Opera. Like I said, it worked fine last year, but I'll try IE for the next game... don't have to worry about it tonight, 'cause it's on my Centre Ice feed.

if your using the mac , i used the link in post #6 and it worked........ Just make sure after you install it you completly close and restart all your safari and our firefox windows................ the only wierd thing is sometimes i guess it doesnt buffer alot and start the whole show over from the beginning.... for example after the third goal last night and me knowing it was going into the 3rd period , i was listening and mahr was getting worked up and we scored a goal .......... he then said the flames 2nd goal of the night lol .......

Ahhhh thank you (I need to say it because it would appear as though I'm fresh out of thank you's today)! I tried the VLC explanation above and couldn't get it to work. Your link works fine though. Good stuff.
