Help finding a Wedding location
Hey folks.
The finance and I are getting married next August. We've got a venue for the reception, but need a place for the wedding. Neither of us belong to a church, so we need a location for 130 people and a justice of the peace. Lemmie hear some of those ideas people!!!

Riley Park, Confederation Park.
Or if you're feeling extra randy, do the Memorial Trail flyover into downtown. For no real reason.

I just got married at Rafter Six Ranch 11 days ago. Incredibly beautiful location. It's just after the turnoff to K - Country.

Have you looked into the wedding pavillion? on 16th ave right by Stoney Trail.
My buddy got married there a couple years ago and it's pretty good.
I'm not sure if it'll hold that many people though.

I looked into that for our wedding that is coming up in August and they only really cater to parties of 100 or less. It is also VERY expensive compared to other places.
Where are you having your reception? Have you thought about having it outside at the venue of your reception? We are getting married at the Red Deer Lake community center and having the ceremony outside.
Oh, an congratulations

We're having it at the Danish Canadian Club because we can get a deal there. Thats the downside with alot of locations, they will only book you if you hold the reception there. Some of these places are asking for $40+ a plate

If your reception is in the south I am telling you check out the Leighton Art Centre. It would be an outdoor wedding but the view is amazing. I had my wedding there and we had 150 people.
