Great start so far. What was up with the Hannibal Lecter at the end of the first episode!!!
It is weird to see Kal Pen in a non-goofy role.
 Wayne seems uncertain as President.
 Marisol Nichols is HOOOOOOOOT!

 Thoughts?

Awesome start to the season. How is it possible for 2 hours to go that fast?

Jack: "I'm don't know how to do this anymore"
This after killing a captor by biting into his juglar and using the coordiantes on a GPS enabled phone to find save the suspected terrorists that the NSA and government had years of research assuming they had the right guy.

I'd like to see that prequel of what happened to him in China..the real ones have been taken off Youtube (that are on the season 5 dvd). Him not talking for 2 years? As brutal/****ed as the Chinese appeared to be, you assumed without him talking to them, the Chinese would've carved out an eye or something permanant like that since then, or at least marked up his face in some way.

And, like to see the rise of Wayne Palmer, and, the price he paid to get Jack back. All in good time.

My prediction based on the previews for tomorrow (strictly on that, I don't and won't read the forums of people who have seen tomorrows episodes or know the inside scoop)...some character dies (my guess is Curtis or Buchanan)

I had already seen the first 4 episodes last week. I won't say a thing about any of them, other than to say that this is shaping up to become my new favorite season!
(Season 4 currently holds that title for me.)

Jack and Audrey were hugging at about 6:47ish if I recall correctly. How did Jack get onto a boat headed to Shanghai in the middle of the ocean in 13 minutes?

Better than the assassination of former President Palmer? That one seemed to come out of nowhere for me, killing off one of the best-loved presidents ever. That guy could run in next year's election and probably seriously challenge for the presidency.

I liked the Lost Boys homage as Jack ate that dudes jugular, awesome, awesome start to the season. Something tells something pretty catastrophic is going to happen tonight, I think the writers want to seriously up the ante this season.

Yeah, I didn't like that at all... too many former people were killed off almost instantly, nothing led up to it.

This has been (easily) the most difficult "season premiere" of 24 to watch. Wow.

Wow...some wild stuff, yeah, best premiere ever.
More after 11 when everyone's seen it.
 Thanks TOTF for the Prequel.
Some of the timing has always been a bit suspect and a stretch..from Season 1 every season, even tonight.
