Just stupid curiosity.
I picked up the M3 Power today, and really like it. I have always just used an electric razor, but I cannot believe how close of a shave I get now compared to with the electric.

M3
That is all i have ever used. I want an M3 power. But I'm thinking paying extra for a vibrating razor the the GF will probaly steal from me isn't worth it.

Mach 3 - never used an electric because I don't need to shave every day (and use the electric to save time).
Is the M3 power that much better than a regular M3, or just a gimmick?

It's not as if it vibrates all that much, so unless it doesn't take a lot to "stimulate hair up and away from the skin", it could just be a gimmick.

Mach 3 all the way. All those super expensive electric razors are crap. For someone like me who needs to shave every day, they just don't cut it (no pun intended)

Gillette Sensor 3.
It's like the Mach 3 but the pivot point is in the correct spot on the blade...the middle!

I jusy bought a Conair hair clipper tonight($25.99), I stopped by shoppers drug mart on the way home from work on the advice of a buddy from work who does his own haircuts, I like wearing my hair short and had'nt had a hair cut for a couple of months and was feeling kinda scruffy so I thought what the hell I'll give this a try, instead of paying someone to shave off my hair I'll just do it myself, anyway when I got home I was anxious to give this new tool a try so I ripped it out of the package and kinda read the instructions, peeled off my shirt and proceeded to my garage, plugged it into my extention cord, pulled it outside into the back yard and away I went , I was told by my buddy that it works better if you do'nt use a mirror because the reflection is backwards and confussing, also important to put oil on the blade or you will just end up pulling your hair, anyway I used the No.3 blade attachment because I figured that I could always go shorted if I wanted to(also recommended in instructions), so I rubbed this thing all over my head for about it seemed like ten minutes then I went inside to take a look in the mirror at my creation and holy sh!t, it is the shortest it has ever been , it looks concentration camp short, you can see my scalp it's that short and my head is stinging all over and its pretty red,I think I was probably pressing down too hard, anyway I had to go back outside a couple of times to go over a few spots and even it out, I do'nt know if I'll ever do this again, sorry if this has been too long and boring, GO FLAMES GO!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I agree with those that are saying that electric razors are crap. I use the Gilette Mach 3 Turbo. Is the Mach 3 Power better?

How much is an M3 power anyway? I find the M3 Turbo fits me just fine, and its hard to think anything could work even better....is the price difference worth it? and do the blades last any longer by any chance?

Mach 3 Turbo for me. Don't see myself getting that power one.....seems like a waste of money. M3T seems to work just fine for me. I've used an electric razoe before, I think it's so much easier to shave with them, but still too expensive.

Mach 3,
I have to believe that the rest are just gimmicks.....they may as well skip right to the six blade razor, you gotta know it is coming

I haven't tried the M3 Power one, would you guys say that its worth switching to, or is it pretty much the exact same?

I get HELL razor burn and ingrowing hairs by the hundred down at the collar line. So, I invested in a top of the line PhiliShave. Hateful thing. You spend so damned long chasing individual haris that it's missed that you're in there for hours. Having said that, it's the best electric I've ever had.
So, I went back to wet shaves. Back to my trusty M3 Turbo. Now though, I only shave WITH the grain, and only every two or three days (thing George Michaels designer stubble !!) - no more rash/ingrowers. Sweet.
