Wow, I hate to be a dick, but maybe your first post here shouldn't be to ask if another forum (even if it is the official Flames one) is working.
That being said. If you want a buch of thread about which player is hotter than good luck getting back on to the Flames board. If you want some good hockey talk and a whole lot fewer 13 year olds. then by all means stick around here.

Um I am 21 and a huge Flames fan! I just enjoy talking hockey on the internet when I'm bored at work and I wanted to find another board to post on.

The board has been shut down "indefinitely". It has to do with cartoons of Mohammed *sp* being posted in the off-topic forum. I was told this by one of the moderators.
Too bad they couldn't have just deleted the thread and banned the user...

are you serious? Why didn't they tell anyone. Those pictures were on the forum for days. You are right they could of deleted them and banned the user. I read that topic and I think the mods were talking about it. Freedom of Speech, anyone? Looks like I have a new home!

I heard from a moderator, that it is shut down for good.
He told me, that an executive was browsing the website, and saw the thread, flipped out, and told Mike Board to shut the entire thing down.
Rioghan, is who told me, and I trust his information to be accurate as can be.
So, yah... I'll be reading here, from now on.

Other key guidelines include...
4. Thou shalt be considerate of others when posting images or large posts.- Avatars must be no larger than 64px by 64px and 20KB. Animated GIFs are ok, but not if they cause seizures.
- Signatures must be no larger than 400px wide by 150px tall.
10. Thou shalt respect thy fellow poster. Treat others as you would want them to treat you. Attack the idea, not the person. Threads that degrade into personal attacks will be locked. Don't bait people into arguments. Respect that other teams' fans feel as passionate about their team and hate your team as much as you love yours and hate theirs.
