RIP: Calgary broadcast legend Darrel Janz dies at 83

He also taught Broadcast Journalism at SAIT and Mount Royal College for a time. As a graduate of the MRC Broadcasting program, he was my instructor in second year back in the mid-90s.

McIver was more of the favorite and if Barb hadn't run, he probably wins. But she pulled away votes from him and that allowed Nenshi to sneak up the middle.
