And honestly the team too. They did the right thing and now maybe just maybe the player will play a huge role in filling some soon to be holes for the team.

If Kylington can play, maybe we won’t be laughably bad after the trades. Gilbert looks like an actual bottom pairing D to me.

He can be on a conditioning loan for 14 days. The Wranglers play Friday & Saturday this week and Thursday & Friday next week. All four games are at the Dome.
I hope he gets a huge ovation when he returns.

It was always so up in the air.
There's no course to plot with something like this.
Having said that ... a conditioning stint may trigger a recurrence and then as a result he doesn't play a minute for the Flames.
Fingers crossed that he can build slowly and maybe not put this behind him, but move it into the manageable category.

If he plays again and can be the player he was before it would be huge for the franchise. Assuming Tanev and Hanifin are moved with Oliver in our backend top 4 would be
Rasmus, Weegar, Kylington and whoever we sign or possibly pick up in a trade for one of our UFA pieces. That is not a bad top 4 for a rebuild.
