Rakuten Viki -- OK?

I've found a couple of films I'd like to watch on what appears to be a paid site I've never heard of (I did see a reference to it here though, from a few years back).

The site is called Rakuten Viki and they have the Midnight Diner (Japanese) films.

They seem to be OK...but has anyone used it and can confirm? VPN (US site) needed or can I just go straight there?

I went straight there works for me. VPN connection or no didn't matter.

Viki is a big western streaming site for Japanese and Korean dramas, etc. It's perfectly fine.

Rakuten is the Japanese Amazon which bought Viki.
