				 Pregame Meal Suggestions

I am off to see the Flames tomorrow night. It has been many years since I went to a game at the Dome.
In that time my go to pregame destination was damaged in the floods of '13 and has not re-opened.

 RIP Lion's Den

I am looking for recommendations for a place to grab a beer and some dinner before the game.

The Saddleroom Grill is a solid spot. A bit pricy but food is good and easy commute to your seats after a few drinks
Edit: I'll second Naina's. Totally forgot that spot. Good price for an awesome stuffed burger.

Naina's on the east end of 17th will let you park there and then walk to the dome as long as you have a burger.
Some of the best burgers in the city too!

Melrose inside the Cowboys casino. Decent pizza and good beer selection. Then you can walk to the dome easily.

Mill Street Brewpub on 17th Ave and 2nd St has a pretty decent burger along with some good house beers.

Never been there myself but have heard it's pretty tasty.

Sunterra MarketBAR, 200 - 12th Ave SE. This is a very underutilized place and their menu is excellent and everything is under $15.00, with a lot being under $10. Also - they will always have a $5 beer special, everyday. 10 min walk to the dome.
My colleagues and I go here quite often for after work drinks, I don't understand why it isn't busier. My wife and I were there before the game yesterday, 2 meals and 4 beers came to $39.00.

Throw a case of beer and a folding chair in your vehicle. Stop by the most convenient McDonald's location along your route. Find a nice parking spot and crush beers and big macs from the comfort of your folding chair. Stumble into the dome and continue drinking beers. 2 per period seems to be the magic number where you can have a lot of fun but still leave with your dignity.

Dignity was lost when you unfolded that chair in the McD's parking lot.

No no no no, you've got it all wrong. You go through the drive-thru and don't unfold your chair until you get to the Saddledome parking lot. Eat your McDonald's food and drink your beer there. Dignity intact.

The McDonalds at 17th Ave and 14th St SW seems perfect for this approach.

Surprised Vagabond isn't getting more love. Really good pre-game spot IMO.
