Default February 11 with 13 games.

Good morning, there are quite a few morning-matinee games for the Saturday OOT.

Canucks had some grade A chances late in the 2nd, but Khudobin and the post stopped the Canucks from scoring until Burrows somehow sneaks one past Khudobin with less then a second to go.

Canucks lose because Vancouver is no good. But god damn, does this team work hard. If not for their mind boggling and consistent work ethic this roster would be competing with Colorado and Arizona for better draft lottery odds.

Dallas is leading Carolina 4-1 after two. Patrick Eaves, with his 20th and 21st goals of the season, is helping.

Also, Nashville is down 5-3 to Florida late in the 2nd. Jagr has his 10th goal of the season, but just as I hit enter on this post Viktor Arvidsson scored to cut the lead to two goals.

I'm always happy to see Vancouver lose, but am equally pleased to point out that this game of theirs had virtually no implications on the Flames's fortunes. After today's result the Canucks remain five points back with one game in hand.

Anderson gets a shut out in his first game in 2 months. Have to feel good for him with what he's been going thru with his wife this year.

Darling is the probable starter, tonight, for the 'Hawks...It is the last of a 6 game road trip, and the 'Hawks get the 5 day bye following the contest, practicing next Friday, and resuming with the Oil at the UC next Saturday...I hope the guys aren't looking to the break, yet, and I invite all the Oil Haters, here at Cal Puck to be, temporarily, my 'Hawk fan brothers and sisters, for the next two Blackhawk games!

I know they are typically playoff duds, but man do the Caps look absolutely lethal this year.

If the Capitals had met the Penguins in round 3 instead of round 2 last year, I don't know if anyone would still characterize their season as one of the "duds." They were a legitimate Cup favourite in 2016 and they should be again this year.

They sure did and put an offensive show winning 7-4. Jagr with a goal, Huberdeau and Trocheck with three points each. Arvidsson, in a losing cause, has a natural hat trick.
