				 2016 MLB Playoffs Thread

Playoffs begin tonight with the AL Wild Card between the Jays and Orioles (which already has its own dedicated thread, as I imagine all Jays series will).
Tomorrow night has the Giants playing against the Mets in New York with a great pitching matchup between Bumgarner and Syndergaard.

On Thursday afternoon the AL West Champions Rangers will host the winner of tonight's AL Wild Card.

Thursday night has Game 1 of the ALDS between the East Division Champion Boston Red Sox and the Central Division Champion Cleveland Indians. Rick Porcello throws for the Sox, Trevor Bauer starts for Cleveland.

Friday features Games 2 in the ALDS. In the Sox-Indians series the matchup is Price-Kluber. Game 1 of the NLDS also goes on Friday afternoon, featuring a great matchup between Kershaw and Scherzer. On Friday evening the Cubs will host Game 1 against the winner of the NL Wild Card, Jon Lester is scheduled to pitch.

Going with a Chicago/Boston WS prediction. Chicago takes it in 7.

MLB playoffs are simply the best. Intensity and focus. And they only last one month!

Pretty sure we all know that. The Dickey trade in hindsight didn't work out so well.

This is a stupid stat, but MadBum has never allowed a hit on the road with RISP in the playoffs.

Yeah, but 2 out of 3 ain't too bad and Shapiro & company did a decent job building Clevelands rotation...

I actually didn't think this would live up to the hype, I thought one or both would get roughed up. For Bochy though he obviously has no decision, until MadBum is behind he stays in. Mets have more to think about.
