Confused on the thread title.

Was he an actor in the movie that crapped on the books?

Nothing against Abe. I liked him in some movies. Just struggling with the title here.

His nickname on Barney Miller was Fish. I think the title is using the HHGTTG book as a play on words. As far as I know, no connection to the HTTGTTG universe.

He was a constant meme on fark.com for years so it was nice to see them honour him.
