Ramo. We trade Hiller for a defenceman.

Ramo vs Hiller | Who Stays?

Kind of up to Ramo. He's going to get a lot of attention July 1 I'm afraid and will probably want to see who's interested.
Edit: that said, I've always been on the side of keeping Ramo and moving Hiller. Give him 3 years at $4 mln while we can afford it; by then Ortio and gillies can take over.

I always liked Ramo more than Hiller. I want Ramo to stay. And that's not just because of tonight. I've felt this way all year.

Ramo and Ortio take the team and run.
Far more confident with Ramo in net then Hiller. When Hiller plays bad, he never recovers during the game. When Ramo plays bad, he can still pull that "mysterious changing Finn" thing they seem to have to turn around his game.

Hoping to re-sign Ramo and trade Hiller, but somehow I doubt that's going to happen.

I always thought Hiller until this series. Ramo stepped up during super high pressure situations.

He changed from a semi-proven 1B starter into a veteran these past couple games.

Flip Hiller to Edmonton or Buffalo for a 3rd.

Try for Ramo but if term and price don't work you stay with Hiller. Then flip him at the deadline next year.
Next year is Ortio's time to step up. Hiller wouldn't be a bad Plan B to keep the lights on.

Pretty much this.

I want Ramo/Ortio next season with Hiller traded for something, but it's probably going to be Hiller/Ortio.

Ramo and Ortio going forward with the rebuild. Like what Darkwater said, trade Hiller for a big, hard-hitting d-man.

It's always the last game people remember. What about when Hiller took over from Ramo on game 6 against Vancouver?
I'm not very solid on either, though both are decent

Hiller probably stays, but like most of you I would like to see Ramo signed and Hiller traded for a draft pick. Though I wouldn't give Ramo anything more than a 2 year deal.

Hopefully Ramo... always felt way more comfortable with him rather than Hiller. Really hoping he can stay and split duties with Ortio next year. But I'd rather not overpay Ramo either, which I feel like will happen come July 1.

I think Ramo's earned another contract. Flip Hiller at the draft and let Ramo share duties with Ortio/Gilles until, hopefully, one of them takes over as a full time starter.

I think both - and hope the Flames can make a deal with Ramo to keep him around.
If Ortio plays his way onto the team, I think any of the 3 are tradeable.

Too many quality goaltenders under contract is a really good problem to have.

As all season, I suspect most will say Ramo based on the last 5 games...but this is just continuing the trend of the regular season of the attitude based on how those guys were playing.
Every time one would start to look a bit so/so, the other came in and played really well for 5-6 games....and then start to look poor.

It was a somewhat lost story in all the comebacks. Ramo played terrible, sliding too far out and letting up too many rebounds and then Hiller came in. Hiller let in goals from odd angles or through him. Rinse and repeat.

But then each would spell the other and stand on their head for a stretch of games, again, oft forgotten in what the team as a whole were doing in winning games they shouldn't have, in some cases.

Who knows, just like Game 6 Vancouver, ANA would've gotten a couple quick ones and then the Hiller stands on his head for the rest of Game 6 and manages to pull it out in Game 7 and everyone would want Hiller....the way its gone all year.

I think whichever is kept, the 1 and 1a system works pretty well with either of those guys, not sure you'd want them as full time backup.

Hiller's save percentage in the playoffs was quite a bit higher. I don't know why everyone is acting like Ramo is so superior.
I'd probably say both, but one of they would have to be traded before the deadline next year.

Other the other hand, I don't think Ortio is worth the time in the NHL. We should not sacrifice our season just to give Ortio playing time. Jon Gillies is a much, much, much better prospect, and I would not be surprised if Gillies, who should get all the AHL time, is already better than Ortio.

So basically one of Ramo, Hiller, or Ortio should be traded.

i am hopeful we can re-sign Ramo.
Ortio is still unproven...Ramo, Hillier and Ortio isn't ideal... but would like us to buy some time to figure things out, but also to get an actual return on Ramo (if we can sign and trade hime) or trade Hillier...

toughest decision of the off season.
