hamhuis - how do you not suspend a hit to the head that was done on purpose?

burrows - how can you argue he didn't instigate the fight? he took a penalty then went to russel and threw the first punch

Bieksa was punching Ferland in the face while the play was still going on. Officials either missed it or chose not to put the Canucks in a bad position. Those clowns totally lost control of the game and shouldn't call another game in this series as they are in over their head.

I feel the league will feel pressure to even things up seeing they let off Engelland but the Canucks were considerably dirtier and maybe the league needs to take a stand here to reign in this series or every game will end like this.

Embarrassing performance by the Canucks tonight. Would be surprised if there were any suspensions. Burrows' hit on Gaudreau suspendable as was Bieksa's, especially given that they each have history. Doubt it'll happen though.

Let's get real. I'll be surprised if there are any suspensions at all, but if it was me and it was my JOB to protect players, I'd do the following:
Burrows: Rescind a la Engelland to even it up cause that's how we roll at NHL Player Safety. Plus, nothing serious ever seems to happen to Burrows. He was penalized on the play. Enough said.

Bieksa: Nothing to see here.

Hamhuis: 1 game for a dangerous hit to the head. We want to protect our star players because we know what is in our best interests.
