Is part of the malaise a reaction to the departure of Feaster and the impending sense that the fire-sale is about to begin any day? All of that great morale and fun from the early part of the year has seemingly evaporated. Do the big guns like Cammy and Stajan just count the days until they are traded away? It would have to have an impact on everyone in the room.

They have played hard and have more effort then a lot of the previous flames teams. The effort wasn't the same, but we are not getting blown out. I'll give em a pass.

I didn't think the Flames could play any worse than they did against Edmonton, but tonight they proved me wrong. Worst game I've seen this season. Some of the vets clearly don't give a crap anymore (Cammy, Stempniak, etc..), and what an absolute embarrassment getting shut out in 6 straight periods at home. Just brutal.

I can see us finishing top 3 if this keeps up. The Oil and Panthers just might be able to outdo these guys at this rate.
