At least that save by Berra kind of made up for it.
On the topic of Berra, anybody else notice he wanders AND loses track of his net? I like him, but the sliding around creates some heart attacks for me/goals against for the Flames.

Feel bad for Berra, who was visibly upset after the OT goal. He played well enough for the team to win but the team barely produced any offense in nearly 65 minutes
Might get killed for this, since I'm a known Backlund fan, but that end of the game play he made, despite it deflecting right to a Blue Jacket was great and why I like him. He skated hard to get back into the play, made a great stick play to knock it away then blocked the shot without hesitating.
Thought Smid played it poorly and, I like Berra but he really needs to not wander so much. Frustrating to see because I think he has some potential but he'll be 27 soon, like to see him close this gap in his game sooner then later.

Smid and Brodie played it poorly. Brodie got head faked by Berra who thought the puck was behind him.
Oh well at least the Ducks scored themselves in OT which was even worse.
What was Brodie thinking when taking that shot?
I like a lot of parts of his game but the timing of his giveaways is colossally bad. He needs to learn that the simple play is often the right play.

I thought it was a good job getting back. I thought knocking the puck away there would have been enough to blow the play dead with the delayed penalty.
One of the most emotionless games I have ever watched. No heart. No passion. Only player who showed up tonight was Bouma and Baertschi. Would really like to see Reinhart up and Mcgrattan benched.
Berra needs to work on his positioning, plays a little to agressively too unless he improves his rebound control a lot. He does remind me of thomas with his charging out on shooters don't think he'll be anywhere close to him though.

I made a similar comment to what I am about to say in the game thread, but Brodie needs to pick his spots to take a shot a lot better. He has chances where he should be shooting and he ends up trying to make a perfect pass or he shoots when a defender is in the lane. Actually, a lot of the Flames defensemen do this and it pisses me off.
