I'll be heading to Miami next month and we wanted to catch of the Everglades boat tours. Has anybody ever been on one before down there? Any recommendations?
We did one three years ago and had a great time. I'd get a list through a google search and research them on trip advisor. I can't remember who we went with but we booked it through a cruise line. Other than that, keep your hands in the boat, Lefty. You will have fun.
I've been going to the everglades/SW florida for years. The airboat tours are all pretty much the same. Good if you just want to tear around in a loud boat for 20 mins. Not too great if you want to see any wildlife. There are lots of great boardwalks and nature tours to check out down there too. If you're intent on airboats there are a whole bunch on the highway from Miami across to Naples.

This is the one I went on http://evergladestours.com/, it was fun. Then they have an area with crocs and gators, and some other animals in captivity that's all included in the price. I got to hold a little gator.
