Ha Loser.

Just RT some NHL rumors, seems like a good way to break the century mark.

Brett Ritchie from Dallas vs Tom Wilson from Washington?

Which one would you take in a trade for Russel

Versteeg and Pirri + for Jones and Russell?

Playoff help for FLA

Rw and good RFA for Flames

Wilson is younger, bigger, meaner and an established NHLer.

Ritchie is a better skater and has better hands/offensive upside, but hasn't established himself in the NHL despite being a bit older, and lacks snarl to his game.

I'd take Wilson probably, but I don't understand why Washington would be subtracting from their NHL roster when they are about to go into the playoffs as the clear Eastern favorites, unless they were getting a clear upgrade.

What is this, a 3 team proposal of some sort, or two separate trades?

A mistake. Hard to keep track of Versteeg. Dude gets around.

Couple things, Doesn't Boedker for Drouin make a LOT of sense to both teams?

I can't help but think Wideman could still be in play at the deadline, His suspension is all but served and he still has considerable value after that.
What about Wideman and Russell for Druion and Gudvelkis? Would he fill our goalie need?
I like Jones to LA for Gamble and a pick as well.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
The Eric Staal watch is on in CAR, as in watching to see if he's in Canes' lineup vs. STL at 3 pm ET today. As of now, that's the plan...

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
...but we know plans change quickly at this time. CAR obviously exploring trade options, NYR appear obvious suitor, Staal has full NMC/NTC.

As far as I can tell it only exists in this thread. A dream turned into motivation. A very pleasant dream mind you

Id be impressed if BT could make that trade. Wideman is essentially a salary dump. Usually you hve to take something bad back, or chip in a sweetener.

I'd go for that plus retained salary at this point

Much rather have Ritchie, but it is highly unlikely you'd get either for Russell. Ritchie has much superior skills than Wilson and could play in the top six. Wilson is more of a bottom six player and there to play mean and stir up the crap. Wilson would be a valuable piece to the team, but I think we need some size with skill before size with toughness.

Agreed.

Goaltending and Scoring Winger desperately needs to be addressed and i'm hoping BT can get at least one of those items checked off the list before the start of next season.

Given those Needs how should BT target when dealing?
Goalies: Matt Murray, obviously, Kristers Gudvelkis? Anti Raanta?,
Scoring Winger: Nikushkin seems a popular target, Druion obviously, Pirri?, ???

Gotta say I still like a Jones for Gamble in LA move, likely have to retain some $$ to make it work though
