Any Bearspaw members want to chime in regarding what you are being told the next 5-10 years will look like regarding the clubhouse assessments? I have been told (by the club) to budget 700-1000 per year for the next 5-10 years. Accurate?
Once complete, Bearspaw will have a new clubhouse, new shortcake area, and full grass range with real golf balls. Have to admit... the practise facilities are a big draw for me.

Its a terrific course. Worked there for 5 years and was a junior member about 10 years ago. Its one of those courses that you never really get tired of playing...I learned to play the game there so it will always be very high on my list. 16-17-18 is an amazing 3 hole finish.
Ultimately you cant go wrong either way you go. Silver Springs and Bearspaw are both excellent tracks.
I've heard about their clubhouse (Bearspaw) apparently they are going with a super modern design. Kinda sad in my opinion. I think its just nostalgia for me but I liked the old school country club feel. When I was there they still had a lot of original members that bought in early. A really good mix of every demographic - middle class to very wealthy...
I imagine with cash calls and all of that this is all but dead now.
