on the other hand, if it is important and they blow it they wouldn't have a stretch of otherwise positive play to feel good about

FWIW Brodie generally elevates his play during the playoffs.

Ras has made 2 bad pinches already and was lucky to have not been responsible for a goal against. Brodie took the puck when he should have taken the man on the PK, but he also covered for Gio on 2 odd man rushes caused by failed pinches.

On a side note, you can sure see the flow of the play from the 13th row of the press level.

Agreed, more body checks and fewer stick checks would sometimes be better.

Depressing to think we signed Elliot instead of Bishop

I would love for Rasmus to go visit Regher and learn the magic of the Tunnel of Death.

I guess if the team is going to see how many minutes in a row they can go without scoring, I’d rather them do it now than in a couple weeks.

Don't think I've seen any Brodie complaints in the game threads since the first week this month. That's because he has been rock solid defensively. What have YOU been watching?

Bishop wasn't signing with us. As I recall, he would have only been a rental.

Bright side is if they beat us it's less likely we have to face these punks and the jets or preds can take them out.

Especially when you consider that didn't happen.

This makes me sad sometimes. Just knowing that Debrincat was right there and we could’ve chosen him instead of blowing the pick on 1 year of Brian Elliott just irks me. Maybe we would’ve selected someone else, but a smallish, diminutive right winger on pace for 40 goals would be super helpful right now.

We all know he looks good in red too...

I guess we’re back to the weird lines. At least Monahan drew a penalty
