IMO Flames' game is decent and has some chances. The only difference so far is the goalie

Sitting Anderson and not starting Rittich really makes me shake my head.

Hopefully Calgary recognizes Gaudreau is drawing double coverage and use it to their advantage rather than continuing the overpassing we've seen lately

I hate how often we don't seem to even generate a shot on an odd man rush.

Happened a lot with the top line last night, then Tkachuk to Frolik just now.

We have a chance at seeing a .900 save percentage here.

Derek Ryan, baker of turnovers. Man. He's quickly gaining steam heading right into the doghouse where he does nothing right.

I can somewhat understand starting Smith (even though I don’t like it), but Anderson sitting is nothing short of ridiculous if he isn’t hurt.

Braun is doing well on Gaudreau so far. Johnny needs to win this match up, draw some penalties

I'm gonna say that line #1 is getting shut down quite nicely by the Sharks. All their focus is on playing them as tight as they can. not much they can get done because the it's more about the Sharks than the Flames in this case.

Ugh, it's gonna be tough to solve Jones tonight. The guy is in the zone.

No Cassie. Mike Smith has DEFINITELY hurt the flames with his below average goaltending to this point.

Cassie Campbell just said Mike Smith not playing well hasn't hurt the Flames.

Cassie Campbell is no good

The Andersson sitting I'm fine with. Sitting a rookie isn't going to hurt and you don't want to keep a guy like Stone cold for too long. Injuries can happen quick and want him relatively fresh ready to step in.

Playing Smith makes no sense. Only this two games in the stretch of a week. Rittich isn't tired.
