Too bad Treliving wasn’t able to pick up Fleury when he had the chance, great goalie!

No. He was not staying, he was going. It was well known.

He is a beauty and played great. Glad to see a good guy win.

Go Knights Go!
Jets have 3 wins in franchise history
CBJ has never won more than 2 games in a series

IDK lets find out

I doubt they win another series scoring 7 goals

Gotta think that

Boston
Nashville
Pittsburg
Win
Tampa

Would all be really tough to beat

Sharks should be a good series...they are giving the Ducks an ass kicking right now. They scored more on the Ducks last night than Vegas has all playoffs.

Next round will be a tougher match up, should Vegas do the impossible I will eat crow. Still don't see it, sorry

Impressive game four though, especially MAF

Not picking on you, more the mindset of "let that sink in." They've been doing this all season long. They've had games where they have completely demolished the opposing team. They've consistently proven they have the will, the coaching, and the desire to win.

I would have more likely had a "let that sink in" moment had they been eliminated in the first round. While the series was VERY low scoring and a huge goalie showdown, not once did I feel Vegas was in trouble.

I wonder what the odds were in Las Vegas before the season started for the Knights to win the cup..

Just checked - opened the season as a +20,000 long shot to win the Stanley Cup

Full credit to the Golden Knights. They play very well in all aspects.
That being said, I think the talk of them as being the cream of the league is unfounded as of yet. The Kings for all their past experience are not a great team. Far tougher tests await. San Jose looks very strong and whoever survives the Central will be another level.

Wouldn't have mattered with the way the season ended up. Smith, Fleury, or any other goalie you like will likely end up golfin' right now. You've left out basically the whole Vegas team that won most of the games without Fleury in net.

Fleury would’ve been a better add than Smith. However no goalie in the world would’ve been able to overcome Gulutzan.

And they are a LONG way from being cup champs...
Meh. The premise was still the same as every other expansion draft. Pick 1 player from each team. Sure they got some absolute gems and steals, but if you told me on June 20th 2017, the day the full roster was announced, that 10 months later they would not only finish 1st in the Pacific and sweep in the first round, but that they now have a 1 in 8 shot at winning the cup! I would have bet to eat pubes..

Not calling you out but people gotta give credit where credit is due. The Vegas management ultimately made those picks and the players stepped up. It's exciting. This is why I watch hockey.

Go Knights! It's you against the world!
