He could be such a superstar if he didn't have this side to his game:

Paul George not make the all star team over someone like Green or Thompson is laughble. George has to be in the top 3 for DPOY. Don't think John Wall deserves it either.

What a blow. Boogie getting injured on an effort play to win a crucial game is some cruel ####. He was having a tremendous year, on pace to make the playoffs for the first time in his career.
@wojepsn:
DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a torn left Achilles tendon, league sources tell ESPN. He will miss the rest of the season. The MRI is coming soon, but diagnosis is clear.

Thunder announce Andre Roberson has a ruptured patellar tendon and will undergo season-ending surgery. That injury is gonna hurt OKC more than you think. He only averages 5 points, but defensively he allows them to do so much.

Saw a stat their lineup with Russ, melo, PG, and Adams go from a top 3 defensive rating with Roberson to a bottom 3 with anyone else
They need to add a wing d, preferably one that can shoot 3s

At least we avoid hack-a-Roberson in the playoffs. Targeting Carroll in Brooklyn makes some sense.

Blake Griffin and Willie Reed to Detroit, for Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley with a draft pick.

Remember when CP3 and Blake took DeAndre hostage to get him to stay with the Clippers? Poor guy.

Unless the Cavs wanna give up the Nets pick, they have nothing to offer. It's kinda hard to see a natural fit for Jordan on a contender if the Clippers want picks/young players. Maybe Celtics if they're willing to give up one of the young guys. Raps have a lot of assets to get it done, but no real need. Warriors and Rockets have nothing, neither do the Thunder or Spurs.

They gotta get rid of him though. They are going to be terrible next year with Blake gone now and he's only got one year left.
Edit: Just realized next year is a player option so he could just walk and they get nothing. Why not take Cleveland's late round first?

They do have another year to trade him, and can get at least a late first round pick in a deadline deal next year. If all they can get is a low first now, then the Celtics and everyone else who has a low first can make the same offer, but possibly with better young players to add on. There's rumours the Cavs want to try and get both DeAndre and Lou Williams, but that has to be for the Nets pick and a couple guys. Now the Nets pick is looking more and more like it'll be a top 6-7 pick and not a top 3 pick, but top 6-7 is more valuable to the Cavs who are likely to be blowing it up this summer (or more to the point, LeBron is gone).

And now Love's out for a couple months, with a fracture in his non-shooting hand. They're already a really undersized team. DeAndre makes a lot of sense for them, but do the Clippers decide that the price has just gone up? And the rumoured George Hill trade was based around using Frye for salary matching. That rumoured trade would leave them even smaller.

Another horror injury, this time Isaiah Canaan. Ankle basically went 180.

That would just be ****ing stupid. That would be as close to "Why are we even playing a season?" as you can get. Ridiculous if he goes there.

Don't think LeBron would do it. Right now, when he doesn't win a championship, he can blame (at least partially rightfully) the collection of mediocre pieces around him, coaching, etc. If he went to Golden State and they didn't win the championship? It would be the one thing that he could do that would seriously tarnish his legacy.
I see him either staying with Cleveland, or picking a promising young team in a big market. Could see him trying to get on with Philly, LA is of course rumoured.
I think he should consider the Pelicans (unrelated, they just traded for Mirotic today). I think all NBA fans want to see Davis succeed, and James going there and being the guy who mentors AD and helps him take on the beasts of the western conference? It would probably be the best 'storyline' James could do. Not sure Pelicans can make it work with Holiday's contract.

I still think there's almost no chance LeBron heads out West, unless it's to the Warriors. The East is still the far easier path to the Finals. But if he does go West and not to the Warriors, I really only see Houston making sense, maybe San Antonio. Still think Philly is where he should go though.
