I put money on the 3 playoff underachievers, feeling at least ONE would break through this season... SJS, STL and WSH... so far, SJS is looking good for a breakout as they're looking the best of the California teams, albeit early on, of course.

Same, a lot of people did. There is this belief that SJS and STL can't possibly keep choking hilariously. Just by probability they should make a run eventually. Right?

Stars, Blues, Sharks and Preds is going to be the next round me thinks.

Gonna be a tough WCSF.. Every team is the WC has a shot at the next round save Minni.

Great hockey being played right now.

But I don't think the Sharks blow it this year.

I want Sharks to do well, just to further show that Mclellan is an overrated coach.

I don't care for the Sharks at all, and really don't want to see them get any success. It's all because of Remenda and having to listen to him all these years.

Important to remember that the Sharks were 3 games under .500 at home during the regular season, by far the worst home record of the 16 playoff teams.

Yep, we've seen the Sharkies do this before. Nobody saw the Sharks take the series lead the last time either.

True, many thought that with the Bruins against the Flyers.

I like Darryl, but he already won a Cup. I don't really have strong feelings towards the Sharks, but they did that classy thing for the sick kid and gave him the one day contract. So go Sharks.

I'm sick of the Kings and Quick especially annoys me. Also Doughty is a whiner.

Would love to see Jumbo Joe with the cup over his head (though that is doubtful). Pavelski is unreal. Burns is a beauty, gained respect for him after he gave Hathaway props. Marleau is apparently one of the good guys in the game.

All in all would love to see SJ win this. Go Sharks

Man are the Kings gonna be in cap hell for years. So much tied up for so long in aging vets, Gaborik, Brown and even Carter.

Damn, such a great start and one bad penalty and it's all for naught. Tied at 1-1 (Kopitar).

It really is. Everyone talks about Burns' but I think his is crap. Like if someone who doesn't grow facial hair well just didn't shave for 4 years
