Giordano has been on an upward trajectory for the past number of years to the point that if it wasn't for a couple of tough injuries, he would have at least one Norris trophy and was in contention for another.

I refuse to believe that he sucks all of a sudden. But he sure has been struggling. Its frustrating to watch.

Hudler's play doesn't really surprise me. I like him, but last year was an anomaly. It would be a huge mistake to re-sign him for the rumoured asking price.

I don't even see this as the fortold "regression" that the stats somehow prophesized. We just suck.

This team needs a serious enema.

That was a really entertaining game. I really enjoyed watching it. If we didn't have to beat a giant steer carcass in the other goal we would have won. I hate everything Bishop represents.

The last thing Treliving needs to do right now is make a panic trade from a position if weakness.

I thought the team played really well tonight. Ramo was good, the team generated chances and defended okay. Just a tough loss when we can't afford to take any more of those. Hamilton is nearly invisible which makes me sad. Gio and Hudler seem off this year

There are many guys who had long NHL careers because they could win 60%+ of the draws. We need a guy like that (and have needed for a long time)...

So will Ovechkin be all time Russian goal scorer after tomorrow's game?

Early, but has Grant made Granlund and Arnold expendable? I have always been a big Arnold fan but didnt see this coming from Grant.

Center depth chart:
1. Monahan
2a. Backlund
2b. Bennett
4. Stajan
5. Grant
6. Janko (hes still in college but this is where he falls)
7. Granlund
8. Arnold

9. Others.......

Actually It is Itialian equivalent to Jordan. It comes from Hebrew word " Yarden" meaning decend or flow down. It refers refering to the flow of the Jordan River that flows between Jordan and Isreal.

Cool story bro////

This. Wideman has been absolutely horrible defensively this year. I have lost count when it comes to Wideman botching a breakout pass only to be hemmed in our own zone and then scored on. He needs to be scratched ASAP.

I am depressed. I wouldn't mind seeing some emotion from the boys at some point, I don't even care about Ws or Ls anymore. Just battle hard out there and don't take any ####. #### the Lightning, and #### the Capitals

Granlund can be a winger (and likely will with his lack of talent in the faceoff dot and out depth)

Arnold I think will eventually replace Stajan, who might be traded at some point over the next year or so.

I've already gave up on this squad.

At this stage is it that extreme to consider treviling an idiot?

Is there a move made that has tangibly made this team better? ?

Positives from tonights game:

1. Bennett
2. Bennett
3. BENNETT
4. Grant. That 4th line was good.
5. Ramo was solid and held it 1-1 till the late PP stammer goal.
6. Jones has been good this year. I wasnt a big Jones fan but he is winning me over.
7. Gaudreau/Monahan. Mony looks like he is on the verge of a breakout game.
8. I liked Russell tonight. Wasnt Brodies best game but he is Brodie.

Negatives:
Wideman, Hudler, first ten minutes, powerplay (even though we got one pp goal), the late penalty to Gio, Bishop.

The Hamilton trade.

Signing Engelland, Hiller, and Bollig for their contributions last year and Engelland's contributions this year.

The Baertschi trade.

The Glencross trade.

Some moves have sucked. Raymond wasn't a very good signing, nor was retaining Ramo.

I am in a bad mood so feel like arguing. Jankowski is not 6th on the depth chart until we see him play against pros. He is still just a prospect.

I do like how Grant has played. Exactly what you want in a depth player. Flames need to keep in mind that guys like him can be found every year. No need to sign the Raymond and Stajan contracts.
