Unfortunately, no. It's part of Sportsnet 360's (formerly The Score, formerly Headline Sports) licensing requirements. It was the compromise that the CRTC allowed when the station wanted to start showing live events. A certain percentage of the screen size must be dedicated to a score ticker.
