well isn't that interesting! Thats a pretty swift kick in the nutsack for the Bombers. If this isnt a wake up call I dont know what is. Poor KG...will now have no choice and likely dumped in the deep ####e that is the Bombers.

Sounds like Glenn might stay with the RedBlacks unless they get a good offer for him. I don't think they will just release him.

I cant see the RBs keeping all 3 of those guys. Im sure they will leverage KG to a team in need. I doubt KG or HB would be happy serving as a back up again.

And the gong show begins in Ottawa! First the REDBLACKS name, and now this.

This could be the third time in his career that Glenn has been discarded due to Burris. 2003/04 in Saskatchewan, 2012 in Hamilton, and now in Ottawa. This is also the third time Burris has said no to Winnipeg in his career.

All the logic in the world now says Drew Willy signs in Winnipeg and is anointed their starting QB as Saskatchewan has no plans of re-signing him. Who knows what though as I get this weird feeling BC will make a hard charge for his services. Yeah, they have already have Lulay in place as the starter but he has health issues. Add in the fact Buono must cringe when he sees who he has for backups, a band-aid in Pierce and some other scrub that played in Winnipeg who was for better or worse crap. I could always see Buono trading for Glenn down the road. Either way I think Buono ends up with one of those two in 2014.

I just dont see the hoopla in Willy. I think hes an ok backup but wont amount to much as a starter. Willy is just not that much better than what the Bombers currently have.
If they want to get better and have a young guy mature under someone, KG has to be that guy.

Speaking of the NFL, being reported that on Rod Perderson's radio show that Kory Sheets was offered a contract from the Oakland Raiders but with no upfront money. He declined.

News coming out of Vancouver I'm guessing from the Lions themselves this morning that Craig Butler is very high on their list of free agents they want to sign.

Yeah, no idea how Huff didn't win. I do think Chamblin did an excellent job this season, he got the Riders to peak at the right time, but Hufnagel was outstanding considering the Stamps had so many injuries

Yeah he also just bought a place in Vancouver, I would be shocked if he didnt end up a Lion.

Good Canadian talent, would be awesome if he picked the Stamps.

Seriously?? Huff was third with 7? Who voted for Coach of the Year, Riders fans? I mean Chamblin is a Riders coach, Austin played and coach the Riders and was a fan favorite.
