Oil children looked terrible out there. Their defense actually looks worse than their NHL team.

That was a slick play by Ferland and Granlund.
Beating the Oilers never gets old.

Perhaps, soon, I will be proven right in voting Granlund 7 weeks in a row on the summer prospect poll. This kid's got a hound's nose for the net.
I only saw the last half of the period, but didn't see much of Monahan. Hopefully I'll notice him more next period.

I wish I knew the Time On Attack time. The Flames absolutely dominated that period.
To play debbie downer, I didn't see a whole heck of a lot of Monahan.

I like watching people in Flames jerseys win.
Independent of that, I also like watching players in Oilers jerseys lose.
This game is delivering BOTH so far!!

Great period.
Even though he didn't get a lot of work, Brossoit did what he needed to, even with some weird bounces.
Reinhart and Granlund should be fun to watch in Abbotsford this year...if they don't make the big squad.
Knight and Ramage also caught my eye.
Bunz was the only Oiler of note. Nurse played as well as we could have hoped. He really needs to fill out that frame.

Wow. Sweet period. Very happy to eat crow. Although I was playing devils advocate.
Markus Granlunds skating looks way better than last year. Kid looks more engaged then any other time ive seen him. (Which hasn't been alot).

If I had to guess, I'd say it was about 19:45 to 0:15 for the Flames.

Ramage definitely looked good, I agree. Made some really smart plays and even started a rush a couple of times.

Yeah. Monahan didn't do much out there besides turn the puck over. That being said, last time this tournie was on RNH looked terrible as well.

Is this an Oilers video?
Kudos to whoever threw the N64 Goldeneye music over the paintball.

Granlund seems to have NHL calibre finish, that snipe from prospect camp still impresses me.

The Oilers look like a better paintball team than hockey team.
I'm liking the classic Goldeneye soundtrack though.
