Listen to your wife. 74 was a terrible year for the Charger. Terrible.

That is 24 points in 18 games. 10-4-4, 12-6, whatever you like. Still really need to shoot for winning 2 of every 3.
Except those top two teams have come back down to earth. Chicago is 6-4 in their last 10. Anaheim is 6-3-1. Those teams have combined for 10 regulation losses and 5 of them have happened in the past week. These teams should still play well, but they're going to lose some games and even out the standings.

Also, once the trade deadline passes and some teams start selling there becomes a lot more easy wins. Once teams sell not only are they losing roster players, but there's a lot more guys taking games off due to injury as a precaution. There's going to be a few AHL-level squads floating around in April (and hopefully we're one of them).

Ya..because scoring goals is all that matters!
How about, he is a plus player, taking the tough defensive zone draws against the other teams best lines.
How he is a plus on this ####e team is unbeleivable.Open your eyes.

Nice job of derailing the thread, Mike Vernon. You should get a nice big and dull lead metal for that effort!

Bet you made the real Mike Vernon proud by doing that.
