You people make me sick. Who puts veggies on a burger you pansies.

Should be 2 patties, bacon, and cheese and bbq sauce and hot sauce. Eat like a man, not a teen aged girl.

I love the crunch of crisp lettuce, tomato and pickles on a burger. I went today and loved it, but could only finish half the fries. I'll definitely be back.

When a chain moves into a suburb of a distant "B" metropolitan area the chain is about to start a slow painful death.

That being said, a franchise is opening up in Sherwood Park Alberta soon! Walking distance (lol) from me! Get the good burgers quick, because it's all going downhill very very soon.

Went there tonight. Burger was awesome but super messy. Had the regular bacon cheeseburger. I think they need a more substantial bun to hold that thing together, but then again, I'm not sure any bun would keep that burger all in one piece.

The fries were absolutely ridiculous for portion size. Good fries, way too much. Not sure what their goal is with the excessive fries but the waste they must create by giving people that many fries is probably insane.

All that being said, I recommend it

Do other Five Guys places give that many fries? Maybe they're just being overly generous for the first while to generate good will and positive word of mouth?

Or maybe potatoes are just cheap.

Yeah I was at 5 guys in Pocatello Idaho this summer and they had a massive amount of fries as well. I saw them scoop up the fries in the container, dump them in the bag, then fill up the container again and put that in the bag. So really you're getting 2 orders in 1!

An extra potato costs a few extra cents and ensures that: a) you wont go home hungry, and b) you'll talk about it on the internet

Went there last weekend and the lineup was quite long. Standing their with my receipt that had #87 on it while hearing the guy yell out "Number 62!", gave me flashbacks of trying to register my car back when the only place to do it was down in Bowness.

Burgers were great, just need to remember to keep the sauces down to a minimum. The fries were great and ya they give you a lot but remember you are paying for it. At $4.25, I'd be pretty pissed if all I got was that small container they put the fries in. By dumping a bunch of fries into the bag, it gives the perception of getting something for free when in reality we've already paid for the majority of the excess.

We have a few 'Five Guys' in the Kansas City suburbs, one just opened near my house. The food is *very* greasy and the burgers are a lot like Culver's. Some of my friends rave about it but it's just okay if you ask me. There are better places to eat a good 'specialty' or 'gourmet' burger, like BRGR or 'Burgers and Bottles.'

I don't get what you're trying to say here, is the "B" metropolitan area Sherwood Park, or Calgary? Because Sherwood Park makes sense for that analogy, but I think both locations are actually really good locations, Calgary's is great at least I think because so many people take the Deerfoot and can just jump off it on the way home, easy access for thousands of people. It's like how they put the one in Vancouver in North Van, just off of the Lions gate bridge, tons of traffic will drive right past it everyday.

So I guess I should divest from Costco since they opened in Okotoks. If Sherwood park is a "B" location what is Okotoks..."D"?

So if they are giving out bags of fries what does that run you if a large fries is 1,464? And you can't just go and have the fries.... Add a burger and you are up to 2,304 calories without having a loaded burger yet...still room for peanuts after all that. They do taste great and it is easy to see where they got the name Five Guys from

If you are on a diet or watching your calories, I think you should skip the 5 guys trip entirely!

No no. Edmonton is a B metropolitan are (so is Calgary, not the point). Sherwood Park is a suburb of the B area.

When a trendy chain restaurant makes it's way here, it's gotten too big to remain good.
