The development profile of coronato appears to be going perfectly. He is playing with Backlund, which obviously helps when coming into her NHL but he's carrying his own weight and learning a lot, which is down to him.
Backlund might get his jersey retired just for the amount of players he’s helped turn into absolute studs at this point.
What a great player to play with at the start of your career.

My personal observation of Coronato lately is that his point totals are well below how well I think he's actually played. But I don't know his advanced stats...which in today's world are the only thing considered to be fact.
My unscientific left brain thinks he should start getting rewarded with a few more points here if this play keeps up.
Fun to see Wolf playing as well as he is. His movement and anticipation sure looks good right now. The team would be ass without him....he's part of the team so maybe include that with your evaluation of the team. The Avalanche might be ass without MacKinnon and Makar...but wait they're on the team so they're not.

Just a personal preference. The images are off putting, the logos are often wrong, the faces are off, they’re just uncomfortable. I won’t make a huge deal of it, just would rather we don’t have them.
And yes, very similar to Calgary NEXT
I agree.
I get a creepy sinister vibe from them.

For me I don't like that AI is becoming 'normalized'. This is a disruptive technology that has some good applications, but many, many negative ones.

The only thing I really try and use AI for is to come up with concept art for me since I'm a 3D environment artist but not a concept artist. Before that I used to just google concept art or images but it didn't always bring up what I was looking for.
I did post one AI image after Wolf got his first shutout because I was getting up at 4 a.m. the next day to go to my cousin's wedding in Winnipeg but I won't be posting anymore just because I don't want to deal with the complaining.
Yup. I always laugh when they do the mascot photo at the All-Star Game and Harvey's the only one who is tarps off.
Just a pair of Mickey Mouse cartoon pants- classic, timeless, tried and true. Besides, if Youppi!, Stinger and that green pouf can run around with no draws on I don’t see why Harvey can’t drop the tarp.
What more can you say about Dustin Wolf? Kid tracks the puck so well. Super fun watching him in his crease when the Flames are on the PK, seeing his tracking and quickness side to side. No more crying about nothing good ever happening to the Flames. Getting Wolf with the LAST PICK of the draft is pretty darn good...
Things have turned around so much for Huberdeau and he deserves all the credit. Watching him on that PP last night as he was doing his spin, I knew it was going in. In years past, I 100% would have figured it would be stopped or he'd miss wide or high. This guy might lead the Flames in goals scored at the end of the regular season and break his own personal best in this stat. What the hell is that?!
LOVE Coronato's game. Ever-humble but snipes like nobody's business. I agree with those who are suggesting the Flames better be locking him up soon, and I've been suggesting the Flames do this the moment their prospects appear to be real for years ever since the Sens did it with their group and the Flames lost Chucky and Johnny. They won't all work out, but I have a feeling Coronato at least will...
Lastly, so many good examples last night of the fantastic job the Flames coaching staff has done this season. Bahl spoke to it in his post game interview speaking to how they got back to their system of closing gaps in the neutral zone right away and pressuring the attacker after the 1st period and Dan Lambert gave props to the players for being willing to play the style the coaching staff is preaching. Yes, LA was tired from a back to back, but you could see how well the Flames system limited any and almost all dangerous chances starting about midway in the 2nd and pretty much all the 3rd. They have this team knocking on the damn wild card door lol. Bravo, and keep it up!
Genuinely psychotic to ask Regehr about how great 2004 was and then proceed to show Tampa scoring both goals in Game 7 and then their celebration when the game ended and the Flames lost the cup.
Honestly a baffling decision.

Given the number of old dudes in charge at SN and TSN that are die hard Oilers fans from the 80s it wouldn’t shock me in the least if this was on purpose.
Remember John Shannon? Imagine a bunch of guys like him.

He has a spot on the 3pm hour on sportsnet radio and it's always the most insufferable blathering you'll hear all week. Whoever it is that greenlit putting a mic in front of that guy needs to be taken out behind the woodshed, right after shannon himself.
