I don’t want to get too high off this one because it looked same old same old until that Lucic-Ruzicka-Lewis shift to build momentum. Too many one and outs, and didn’t get Oettinger moving. But they turned it on and thank scorch they did because tonight would have been depressing.
But 2 points is 2 points and sometimes you have to just win. Nice to see the Flames win a tight game where they had the 2nd best goalie, that hasn’t happened often. Maybe it will give Markstrom some confidence that he doesn’t have to have a great game to get a win.
