Simon is one of those players that occupies a spot on the bench but accomplishes nothing on the ice. He doesn't stand out for anything bad as he's not taking bad penalties or turning over the puck. It's just that he skates up and down the ice accomplishing nothing. It seems like he's neutered Johnny and Monahan.
