Superb women's doubles final right now. The Russians took the first set, but Hingis is flying out there. There's a good chance the Swiss push this to a third.

They showed Sock/Mattek-Sands win the mixed doubles final on Sportsnet about 20 minutes ago.

This match is already a war of attrition. 70 minute first set and already 10 more minutes for 2 games of the second. Del Potro responding well up a break after losing the first.

This gold medal match is wild. Those guys are going into their fourth hour pretty soon. Amazing that these guys have that much endurance.

It's too bad Del Potro didn't win, but he gave us his heart and soul last week and as tennis fans we can't ask for more than that. It was kinda sad to watch at the same time, realizing we lost the best years of an elite talent to injuries. No doubt he'd have 5 majors or more if he stayed healthy those years. As to Andy, Lendl is clearly the difference between the very good Andy and the world beater Andy. Be interesting to see how high he can go now.
