C'mon, don't micro-analyze too much. He's scored many goals in his career just like that and on the replay you could see the daylight he saw. The goalie barely closed it in time, an if it goes in we're all gushing about how that's part of why he's such a unique, dangerous player.
I get this is a game thread designed precisely for discussing the game, but let's not be too arm chair coachy.
