On the bright side Mono had a strong period too. he's quietly going about his game and it seems that he's getting better. It doesn't look like he's going to have any sort of sophmore slump. I'm impressed because he's not playing 3rd line and he's stepping up.

They had Leah Hextall, Jaffey(?) and Scott Morrison in the half hour pregame which was pretty good. Don't know where they went.

I thought monahan, Jones and hudler were the best players that period. Everyone else was below average.... Can only get better for the second!
