I can say with confidence, there is not a single frame of Revenge of the Sith that's as interesting as this Episode 3.
EDIT: I'd also like to take a moment to mention that since I arbitrarily decided to start doing these following the Phoenix game, they haven't lost. Make of that what you will.
Also worth mentioning that Backlund has continued his great play against the leagues top teams. He seems to find another gear and try his hardest to battle the juggernauts of the league instead of just tentatively floating around.
Let the guy keep his 'A' even if they don't strip it from Glencross when he's back playing. Backlund deserves at least that much!
I think I'd like to see Monahan work on a quick release mid-stride on the rush. He tends to stop moving his feet and stickhandle quickly ,which has been successful in the past, getting some goalies to bite, but I think a mid-stride shot would catch some goalies off guard. Also, once your feet stop moving, it can sometimes give the opposing player a chance to catch back up (we saw it this game where a Hawk was able to get back and take the puck away) and inhibit the scoring chance. It's really great to see him creating so many odd-man opportunities, though!

+1! it really does seem that backlund's game has been on an upswing since the A got added to his jersey.
Besides that, if the oilers have found a way to have 6 we can at least add one more.

Absolutely; though it's easier when you work there. I am aware the production values are non-existent at the moment, but it's a work in progress.
Shall I count you as a member of the 'this is a stupid gimmick and I hate it' crowd? Because that's actually why I called it the Shootout in the first place

Nah, when Glencross and Cammalleri are healthy he'll lose it. Having more than two "A"s is dumb, which is why the Oilers did it. I'm sure he'll be told that he's next in line to get it when trades happen though.

Not at all. Count me as a member of the "Kudos for getting sponsors for a 5 minute youtube upload" crowd. No joke.
