I've read a few places that it was a 'professional foul' and a smart play on his part. The blame on the play lies with the midfield.
It was a great foul to take, and he took the red like a man. Silva hit the crossbar on the free kick though! Right outside the box. I have no idea why Manchester City just can't seem to get it together in the CL. Year after year now they falter in the group stages.
What is going on? Its like hes not even paying attention.
Personally, I never thought he was that great of a player. Just all hype because he's the England number one.
Did anyone see the Celtic/Barcelona match yesterday? Fraser Forster was unreal, and he has been like that in all the Champions League matches I've seen him play. He's well worth a look in for the England job.

I caught the tail end of the Celtic-Barcelona match and I agree, Forster was great. He made some fantastic saves to give Celtic a chance
Hart was incredible with Birmingham. Recall a game around Christmas a few years back, where he completely stone-walled Chelsea. Lamps, Drogba, Anelka, ..
I'd have to say it's all in his head. Sadly, seems to happen to the best young prospects, when they're on the highest stage --- Foster, Robinson,.. now Hart? Although, to be fair, Foster's comeback was outstanding before his current injury.
Klopp's suspension will carry over to the next match against Arsenal, Dortmund won't appeal. Sounds like Sahin could be out up to three weeks so he will likely miss the Arsenal match as well. That Dortmund midfield is being decimated with injuries

Have no worries, Arsenal don't have a senior winger at the moment.

AFC/BvB/Napoli would all be on 6, Arsenal still have to play at both the others away, they would need to win one of those games to go through most likely
It is a setback for sure - but hardly fatal. We are more than capable of a win at Napoli - where we probably only need a draw assuming we beat Marseille at the Emirates.
It will be interesting to see how we respond to this setback. I'm hoping Flamini is back soon. The vast majority of talk has been about the Ozil signing, but Flamini has been a major reason why we have been relatively successful so far this season.
I doubt that second goal would have happened had Flamini been on the pitch.
