I'm collecting some more information, I need to double check this one but i got tipped off a team putting together the frame work for a significant offer on one of the "main 3" speculated available for the flames.

Ras camp has informed Flames at this point would prefer going as a pure rental and hitting the market but he has a couple teams he would be willing to discuss an extension with if traded there - I heard its as low as 2 teams... Gut check time is coming for Connie's brain trust and his messaging with other GMs.

Coleman's camp and flames org have had active conversations about the timing of a deal IF one was to happen. Its believed the flames are open to respecting this timeline. Yes it's business but how you treat people is a very important thing to the flames organization and reputation amongst the PA goes a long way in future recruiting.

No news on my end for Kadri.

Morgan Frost's name is out there gaining traction but not sure the flames go there yet FWIW.

If Ras keeps at the pace he is at and puts up a 17 goal 40 assist 57 point season I would see why he would not want to sign. In a rising cap world that could be close to a 10 million dollar a year dman.

I'm going to hazard a guess and predict Andersson will be traded before the Olympic break.

As for Kadri or Coleman, if something happens, great but I'm not holding my breath.
I think the Flames management team has set their prices too high to have another team bite on trading for either of those two. Maybe if the deadline gets a little hot and heavy (doubtful), then we may see these guy move.

I don’t think Conroy will ever pull a Burke and just let an asset walk to show other GM’s that they cannot push him around but it is fantastic news if he has a really high price for the players. Don’t want to just trade them for the sake of trading them, adhering to that old Brian Burke advice is the way to go.

Set a price for your player, sure I get that. I'm not thinking about a price that makes it worth while for the Flames to move a guy, my thinking is more along the lines of a used car on Facebook market place, it's a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 sport, 230kms on the odometer and no rust so it's in great shape for the KMS, but theyre still asking for 45k. The old "I know what I got so EFF of lowballers". That where I think the Flames have set their asking price.
